I thought 15h_16h was for older CPU ???

that's a greeeeeat information, thanks dude ;)
Yeah I am testing just right now to see how it goes, I have a Ryzen 3900X and a X570 mobo, I am crossing my fingers...

i have good opencl benchmark.

With 15h_16_h config.plist :

4961 Single-Core Score
24951 Multi-Core Score
121131 OpenCL Score

With 17_h config.plist :

4821 Single-Core Score
24446 Multi-Core Score
41035 OpenCL Score

Perhaps one of the kernel patches It's the cause of the poor opencl perfomance.
Please test it if you have a 17h processor.

my system:
ryzen 2600x
MSI B450 Gaming plus
16gb Corsair 3000mhz
240 ssd
Wow I already tested the 15h_16h patches in Zen2 3900X with x570 mobo and yes the performance is quite better, but I had to make some changes to make it work, I have to add the algrey - cpu_topology_sort -disable _x86_validate_topology from the 17h patches to the old ones, and the machine booted up, without that no. And the performance is really good in 3D now, in games in all scenarios. And the processor performance is really good. But I think is just one kernel patch the problematic, because I was mixing some configs from one to the another and when I use one the 3D performance got really low. I will keep updated about my investigations. But until now, full Usb 3.1/3.2, native audio with AppleALC, a lot better graphics performance with VDAHardware support for encode/decode h.264/h.265, until now the performance is lot better than my Intel Hackintosh and I got it because of you people, I will continue updating and I will make a guide with my Ryzen 3900X because now it performs just really good, a total beast.

I had the same issue. Vega 64 card, Ryzen 1700x, using the older 17h patches. Got 40k openCL score (I get 200k in windows).

Just discovered there were new patches yesterday. Everything runs fantastic now (video is smooth), and openCL score is 150k.

Nice work guys! I couldn't be happier!

Thx!
Can you please upload your efi with config? I have similar components, or did you install just like on vanilla instructions? What about bios?

That's awesome news. When you make a guide please do link me - I'm genuinely thrilled to hear that you got this working properly.

Hey guys! The issue is still present even with the latest config for 17h on 18G95 build. I am going to try to use 15h_16 and report back

EDIT: Using 15h_16 prevented booting up entirely and even stopped me from opening up bios setup:) had to disconnect the drive to enter bios again .. I was following default instructions and setting Inject option in Devices to "No" as per some guide regarding not functioning AppleACL

I am attaching my working EFI that has the GPU performance issues (17h config)

Would be very kind if you could share your config.plist, because I've noticed no difference. My Vega still performs badly. Thank you!
