Switch From Niresh Mavericks

Hello All,
I have just joined this forum and I was wondering if I should switch from Niresh Mavericks, to the AMD OSX kernel. If so, what are the advantages to the AMD OSX kernel? A reason I am looking into other options, is because, the wifi does not work and I have some minor graphics glitches with Niresh. Will the AMD OSX kernel fix this?
Thanks in advance for the help,

If your Wifi doesn't work with Mavericks it most likely won't work on other versions. Also notebook/laptop GPUs aren't really supported on macOS. The best you'd get is Yosemite with the system acceleration turned off.
