Hi everyone,
i have successfully completed my Catalina installation.
Here is my hardware information:
Gigabyte Aorus x470 Gaming 7 wifi
Zotac GTX 1070 Ti AMPİ Extreme
Gskill Trident Z DDR4 3200mhz cl14 2 x 8 GB
AMD Ryzen 2700x 3.7 ghz
ViewSonic 42.5' (3860 x 2160)
WD HDD 320 GB (hdd for test catalina)
Bluetooth Onboard

Bios Settings:
Under Peripherals tab
inital display output PCIe 1 Slot

Driver install Steps:
  • Boot with recovery mode with usb efi when you see recovery screen open terminal window. copy and run this command. and reboot your pc from top bar or terminal
    Code: Select all
    csrutil disable
  • Load with hdd efi from boot disk list , after that choose macOS boot option from clover boot list. Login with your password and open terminal run this command
    Code: Select all
     sudo mount -uw / 
  • Download webdriver-all-versions-app.zip from attachments and run the WebDriver All Versions app and click on Reinstall Driver and then Download Webdriver.
  • After it's done, quit the WebDriver All Versions app and open it again. Click on Existing Webdriver Patching. This requires the Terminal, so give access to it when prompted.
  • Open the Terminal.
    Copy and paste this command:
    Code: Select all
    sudo chmod -R 755 /Library/Extensions/NVDAStartupWeb.kext
    and press Enter. Enter your password if necessary.
  • Then copy and paste this command:
    Code: Select all
    sudo chown -R root:wheel /Library/Extensions/NVDAStartupWeb.kext
    and press Enter.
  • Then copy and paste this command:
    Code: Select all
    sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions/ && sudo kextcache -u /
    and press Enter.
  • And the last command to copy and paste:
    Code: Select all
    sudo touch /Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u /
    and press Enter.
Download and install the latest CUDA drivers from here. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/cu ... r-archive/

Before the restart , in your clover config NvidiaWeb should be unchecked in System Parameters

Restart again but you should be carefull about your connection cables.

Display cable not worked for me.
if you see black screen after restart , probably your cable is not send signal to your monitor. HDMI work fine on my setup good luck :thumbup:

You'll get it recognised with full resolution but no acceleration.

Yeah you're right Shanee HWAcceleration is not supported :problem: But resolution fixed.A little bit better when you compared to 7 mb graphic memory :thumbup:

Thanks for this dude, the only problem is that 'The application "Webdriver All Versions" can't be opened." is there any chance you could have a look at this for me please?

The binary in the .app is missing executable bits. If you hop into terminal and cd into Webdriver All Versions.app/Contents/MacOS, just 'chmod +x Webdriver\ All\ Versions'
