Hi,

I have an audio stutter problem, that only occurs on USB audio devices, like:

- USB Bluetooth dongle > Bose Bluetooth headset connected
- USB Bose audio set
- Cheap chinese USB Soundcard

I'll try to describe the stuttering problem: When i play audio on Spotify the sound is OK, no distortion. But for every 3 seconds of playback it seems to be muted for 100 ms. So i get a stuttering effect on the music.
All of this does not happen when headphone with 3.5mm jack is connected to green port of the mobo.

I think AppleALC is installed correctly since Audio settings correctly shows all posible audio output devices.

My hardware:
Ryzen 2700X
32G Trident RGB
ASUS X470 Prime Pro mobo
RX 580 GPU

Installed kexts:

WhateverGreen.kext
VoodooTSCSync.kext
USBInjectAll.kext
SmallTreeIntel82576.kext
NullCPUPowerManagement.kext
Lilu.kext
FakeSMC.kext
AppleALC.kext
AmdCPUMonitor.kext
AHCI_3rdParty_SATA.kext

My config.plist:

I have the same issue, my stuttering happens during all sound play unless I move the mouse really fast or if I put a load on the CPU like QuickTime screen capture.

I hope I can find a fix, everything seems to be working otherwise.

I'm having the same problem, I already tried setting a fixed frequency in bios and disabling all power saving functions but this didn't work either.. All I can do to fix the issue is play a youtube video on the second screen to stress the CPU a little bit.

Hopefully someone finds a solution and shares it with us :D

what fixed for me was to set my ryzen 7 2700x that is 3.7 mhz base, went into bios and set to even number (ie: 38) and all stuttering and audio issues gone, even in safari..
if you went and looked at logs you find that it does reset ever couple of milliseconds. Doesn't like odd numbers.
