Since I just want the Xcode, I did not upgrade to 10.13.3
However, my OS X is so lag
Allocated 4 CPU, 4GB RAM
CPU: Ryzen 5 1500X

Any possible way to increase performance?
How did you install to 10.13.2?
Can you elaborate or maybe share the vmdk?

I keep getting "CPU disabled by guest OS after updating the OS".
So far tried updating to 10.13.5 and 10.13.2, both have the same problem.
Right now I'm basically giving up for now on updating the OS, and just trying to install older version of XCode instead.
Because there are people saying they are doing fine coding on older version of XCode and uploaded to AppStore without any problem.
Now downloading XCode 9.1 for testing, AFAIK, starting from XCode 9.3 it requires 10.13.2 to run.

Update :
Currently able to use XCode 9.1 for High Sierra 10.13.1, so, I'll just keep it at that.
But I do hope that if anyone can find a way to update the OS version to share.
It would help a lot.

Thanks.

Update again (since nobody seems to be replying) :
Have been working for around a week+ with :
- High Sierra 10.13.1
- VMWare Player 12
- XCode 9.1
- Ryzen 5 1600
- 16GB RAM (8GB for the VM)
- 6 core (12 thread), 6 core dedicated for the VM

What I did was just follow the guide on the 1st post, and "ALMOST" everything seems to be working just fine.

Until I needed to test USB debugging. The iPhone 6 I have is able to be detected by the Windows 10 Host, but when connecting it to the HS Guest, it doesn't get detected at all, it doesn't run iTunes, it doesn't open anything.

If anyone has anything I could test, please do advice, I've tested the first 3 posted answer on stackoverflow, doesn't work.

I set the VM as below
RAM 8192
CPU 2
HARD DISK and CD-ROM Sata
for Virtualization engine, enable AMD-V/RVI
OS set macOS 10.13 with VM patch

After VM start get a Boot Manager listing the SATA harddrive and SATA CDROM. Neither of the two options work. There is a message No System Installed on VM Machine.

Host system:
FX8320
16GB RAM
Mobo: ASRock 970Pro3 R2.0
Nvideo GTX 1050 Ti 4GiB

what should i change because it works?
