How did you manage to get the onboard wifi and bluetooth working?
Also, you have Baller AF graphics card mate. :thumbup:
How did you disable the native wifi and bt so that the fenvi card would work? I've been looking around and people are just sharing updated config.plist. I'm trying to learn how to do things myself instead of just completely changing the config.plist every time I want to modify something. Thanks in advance!!!

I can't seem to get the BT working on the Fenvi card. I don't know how to disable to onboard BT and for some reason I cannot open your config.plist "list index out of range"

any advice/help?

Thank you!!!

I am not sure what kind of Fenvi you have as there is more than one out there; but mine is a native card. This means that if you plug it into a genuine MacPro it will work straight out of the box. It doesn't require scrips, kexts or any injects. In a similar way you don't need kexts for say 5700xt as it's supported by the OS out of the box. Your PCIe slot obviously needs to recognised by the OS, which if you have set it up correctly it will. Lastly open my config file with notepad or something similar - you should not use it to copy and paste but something to help you with understanding

What I suggest you do is boot into Windows use ProperTree and SSDTTime to make sure your setup is configured to your machine

Wapr stabilizer has a fix now, with that the app become less buggy too.

He probably means the following fix. Which is still buggy and does not work for After Effects, which includes 3d tracker too (Premiere pro is okay)

I've also upgraded my installation to the latest version of MacOS and updated my EFI as well. Attached

et another solution to the environment variable problem. Found it based on this article:

Create a launch agent which sets a global environment variable at boot.
The following snippet enables MKL_DEBUG_CPU_TYPE=5 for ALL apps started after this launch agent has started.

For single user install, paste this in the terminal:

AGENT=~/Library/LaunchAgents/environment.plist

cat << EOF > ${AGENT}
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">

<plist version="1.0">
<dict>
<key>Label</key>
<string>mkl-debug</string>
<key>ProgramArguments</key>
<array>
<string>sh</string>
<string>-c</string>
<string>launchctl setenv MKL_DEBUG_CPU_TYPE 5;</string>

</array>
<key>RunAtLoad</key>
<true/>
</dict>
</plist>
EOF

launchctl load ${AGENT}
launchctl start ${AGENT}

NOTE:

If you want to install it for all users, omit the tilde in the AGENT variable.
Alter the number value (5) to a lower number for older AMD architectures (e.g. MKL_DEBUG_CPU_TYPE 4 for FX)
You have to wait a few seconds after the Finder has started in order for this to take effect. Maybe anyone finds a way to have the lauch agent started earlier.
