Hi all,

I am currently looking to build my first AMD Hackintosh mini-ITX build! I am coming from an older Intel x79 Hackintosh build so I have a bit of understanding but not too familiar with AMD side (still gathering data)
I see a lot of success stories on the Gigabyte and ASRock board but not many from Asus (especially the mini-ITX). Is there a reason why the community is not using Asus board?

I'm hoping to run Catalina with this build if possible. Can anyone comment on compatibility issues and if there are any success story? Thanks in advanced!

Should all work just fine apart from the on board WiFi. Intel WiFi doesn't work on macOS. If possible you can swap it with a compatible one listed here, https://khronokernel-7.gitbook.io/wirel ... ers-guide/

Hello GS,

This is similar to my idea which is based on Snazzy Labs ideas.

The latter link is what I'm after, more or less and similar to yours, GS.

I'm in the UK and putting together my own spec via CyberPower. So, 3900 and the 5700XT.

It's the motherboard and wifi I'm most concerned about. (As I hear AMD OPEN CORE is very forgiving even compared to Intel Hacks...) I'm guessing the m/b and wifi are the chief hang ups?

Motherboard: Asrock X570 Phantom Gaming 4: ATX w/ RGB, PCIe 4.0, USB 3.1, SATA3, 2x M.2

Would that m/b do the trick?

PS. Which Wireless (I'm up in the Attic and my internet access is on the ground floor...) net work card would be best for me?

BCM94352(ABGN+AC):

TP-LINK Archer T6E(no bluetooth)
Rosewill RNX-AC1300PCE(no bluetooth)
ASUS PCE-AC56(no bluetooth)

Would they work in Mojave? Catalina?

Regards,
