DEPRECATED : use this instead viewtopic.php?f=24&t=4986&p=42056

You want to download the following zip and extract it to your desktop. Do not rename it.
Code: Select all
http://bit.ly/BTRyzen
Then open the folder and double click on the file labeled bluetooth. Then when asked enter you macOS install name and your password. It will then backup and copy the files automatically, then do a repair and rebuild the prelinkedkernel.

This should hopefully resolve your bluetooth issues.

What is even better.. GenericUSBXHCI.kext for the Chipset controller (id 0x43bb1022) and native support for the 4 USB ports controlled by the CPU. My BT dongle is working OOB now using a CPU controlled USB port.

You got a KenrelCache ID so it worked, prelink failed for BluetoothMultiTouch.kext because of a version difference. It only affects you if you're using a magic trackpad.

Does this work with inbuilt wifi and bluetooth on the motherboard. I have x370 taichi mobo.

I am running ahs sierra v2 with xlnc scripts.

Thanks Norton. How do I repair and rebuild prelinkedkernel. Is it with kext wizard?

Kext Utility will rebuild the prelinked, kext wizard only repairs permissions

Thanks Norton. I have tried what you have said but bluetooth is still not working. I get this in system report when I click on Bluetooth HCI
Code: Select all
Bluetooth HCI:

  Product ID:	0x0aa7
  Vendor ID:	0x8087 (Intel Corporation)
  Version:	0.01
  Speed:	Up to 12 Mb/sec
  Location ID:	0x00900000 / 1
  Current Available (mA):	500
Current Required (mA):	Unknown (Device has not been configured)

I have X370 Taichi mobo that has wifi and bluetooth inbuilt.

Thanks

@ronaldo9_r9, intel chips are not supported
